Skåne Innovation Week kicks off next Monday, and it promises to be very eventful. It is going to be a week filled with activities, innovation and ideas, all aimed at creation of the most innovative region not only in Sweden but in the entire world. Activities during the Skåne Innovation week are spread across the entire region and will be taking place starting Monday, May 30th, until Friday, June 3rd.

The program is extremely rich and will include lots of short events such as breakfast meetings, lectures, and talks and longer ones such as workshops and educational events. Among full- or half-day events are EBN’s tech camp, Almi and Google’s digital academy, Packbridge’s Open Innovation Challenge, Skåne’s Social Innovation Day to name a few. In essence, the week will be full of opportunities to pitch ideas, connect with interesting people and learn new things. (See full program here)
During the week Öresund Startups together with Think Accelrate and FOO Café will host 2 lunch lectures “Top 50 Startups”. The talk will be held by Karsten Deppert, founder of Öresund Startups, where he will review the most prominent startups, entrepreneurs and investors in Southern Sweden and Copenhagen region. We had a similar event once before, and it turned out be a great way to get an overview of what is happening in the region. The first lunch lecture will take place on Monday, May 30th 12.00-13.00, in Helsingborg (sign up here), and the second event will be on Friday, June 3rd 12.00-13.00, in Malmo (sign up here).
