Startup Queue-it reports that it’s co-founder Camilla Ley Valentin is one of three finalist for the Women4Tech’s Industry Leadership Award at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, which concludes the 1st of March.
The award recognizes and celebrates both individuals and organisations that promote initiatives that drive gender diversity and gender equality in the tech industry.

Camilla made it to the finals along with two other female leaders within technology, on the basis of their contributions to bringing their technology companies to new successful heights and their enriching initiatives within both local and international tech communities. Camilla is the only nominated woman from the Nordics and the only nominee from a start-up.
This nomination stems from her continual engagement within the tech environment over the past 20 years. In previous years, she has also won the female entrepreneur of the year award for Queue-it’s radical and successful idea and has been featured as one of the fifty most inspiring European women in technology.
Camilla’s focus has not only been on growing Queue-it, but also on other contributions within the Danish and European tech community. One example is Women in Tech, the organization she co-founded together with other passionate female entrepreneurs. The primary aim of Women in Tech is to build relations among female founders and entrepreneurial minds in the tech community, supported by initiatives such as mentorship programs and networking events with a focus on inspiring diversity.
